In detail

The biogas plant “Grimal” in the south of France is located at the origin of the world famous Roquefort-Sheep's cheese. Therefore a huge amount of sheep's dung occurs, which gets fed in the very first biogas plant of the province Aveyron. All the waste heat produced within that process is used for the production of high-quality fertilizer.


The implementation of the project follows in co-operation with our local partner Arkolia Energies and is within the set period of time.

Die Stadt Yogyakarta in Indonesien steht vor einem ernsthaften Müllproblem. Die vorhandene Deponie ist fast vollständig gefüllt mit dem täglich angeliefertem, ungetrennten Mischmüll der 3 Mio. Einwohner Stadt.


Im Auftrag der lokalen Partnerfirma Bioflux hat novis eine Gesamtlösung entwickelt, die neben einer 70%igen Reduzierung der zu deponierenden Müllmenge 2 MW erneuerbare Energie liefert und 150 Arbeitsplätze vor Ort schafft.

In detail

The disposal of the growth substrate produced during the decomposition of mushrooms is a significant cost problem. Because of that the novis company evolved a procedure in co-operation with the Dutch company TechnoCow, which allows to recycle parts of this residual.

To test the suitability of the produced subtrate, novis planned, built and supervised a test plant in laboratory scale.

The results of the tests are very promissing, so that the customer wants to build up a 120m³ pilot plant.
